
About Liz
Nicknamed "Betsy" by family, I come from a family of bakers, and some of my earliest memories are standing on a chair in the kitchen beside my mom, watching her bake.
She had a deep love for bread and even took a culinary class focused on baking it. I’d bring her fresh-baked goods to school the next morning, and my friends would always be waiting to see what she had made—and what I had to share.
I think that’s where my love of baking really began.
My sourdough journey started out of curiosity. I made a starter one day just to see if I could keep it alive, and it quickly turned into something I couldn’t stop doing. It brought me right back into the kitchen, doing what I’ve always loved: creating something from scratch and sharing it with others.
